DESCRIPTION:This years theme: “Decorate the room\, not the crib” \n\nA bare crib is best. All you need is a tight-fitting mattress and a fitted sheet designed for the mattress.\nBedding sets\, pillows and bumper pads\, even the mesh ones\, may look nice but they are not safe for your baby because:\n\nany loose or soft items in or around your baby’s crib can suffocate your baby\nolder babies or toddlers can use bumper pads to climb out of their crib\n\n\nBaby nests or pods (small\, portable pads with soft\, padded sides) and other soft products like nursing pillows may look cozy but they are not recommended for sleep. These products increase a baby’s risk of suffocation. They should never be used in a crib\, cradle or bassinet\, or on an adult bed for a baby to sleep in.\nHang artwork\, shelves and other wall decor away from your baby’s crib\, as they can:\n\nFall into your baby’s sleep space and injure your baby\nBe pulled down into the crib as your baby learns to stand and climb\n\n\nKeep safety in mind when choosing the best spot for your crib.\n\nPlace the crib away from windows. Make sure window coverings do not have long accessible cords.\nKeep all cords from baby monitors\, lamps\, sounds machines and other electronics are out of reach of your baby’s crib.\nIf you have a baby monitor be sure to keep it out of reach of your baby. If you mount your baby monitor\, mount it on a wall and not on your baby’s crib.

The event will be held at Essex Arena 60 Fairview Ave. W. Essex\, On. Registration Package pick up will start at 8 am. Walk to begin at 9 am. The walk will be through the beautiful town of Essex and will be a 5K. After the walk is completed we will have lunch and a time of fellowship. Guest speakers will take a few moments to tell their stories and inform us of the work their organizations do. The day will last till approx 2 pm. Your registration fee of $25 will include your lunch\, Gift bag which includes\,T-shirt\, memorial ribbon\, and various other goodies. Registration deadline is September 15 2018. Late registries can not be guaranteed their gift bag as quantities are limited. A pledge sheet is available on the web site if you wish to collect donations for the charities. Proceeds of this event and all donations will go to Baby’s Breath and Windsor Regional Perinatal Department.

Each day a direct sales representative will feature the items available for purchase from their business.  At the end each representative has committed to donate a portion of their proceeds back to Baby’s Breath.
